Situated in a 400-year-old former vicarage in the heart of Wiltshire, The Pear Tree is an exclusive-use wedding and events venue surrounded by seven acres of English countryside. Located within easy reach of Bristol, Reading and London, it’s the ultimate countryside escape for memorable experiences and seasonal dining. With 18 bedrooms spread across The Pear Tree’s historic buildings, lush landscapes and a private vineyard, the venue features a formal dining space in the Orangery. There’s also a covered outdoor terrace & kitchen, and a separate bar and lounge with a dance floor.

As you arrive at The Pear Tree, please park in the car park straight ahead. Make your way along the front of the house to the front door; the team will meet you and show you around. If you have a problem or get delayed, please call 07818 056752.

There is plenty to see and do in Purton and the surrounding areas, so you can make the most of your time here when you stay. The Purton Museum showcases the area’s history with special exhibitions throughout the year. The parish council also has a busy events calendar, with activities in the village that celebrate the local businesses and amenities. The Pear Tree and Purton also make a great base for some of the surrounding attractions, and you’ll find a number of nature reserves, wildlife centres and golf courses, all making the most of the beautiful rural location.
